Sensabot Variable Challange




Hi we have been working on an independent,dependent,and controlled variables. We have been using are program from the sensabot challenge on the robot to run on three different surfaces. The three different surfaces are blacktop,tile,and a floor. I thought it was going to be hard but it turns out it was a little easy.
Independent Variable
The independent variable is the one and only factor that is changed in an experiment.
Are independent variable was was the three surfaces that we used.
Dependant Variable
The dependant variable is the factor wich is measured/observed in the experiment. Responds to changes in the Independent variable.
Are dependant variable was the spped of the robot.
Controlled Variable
A experimentil element which is not changed through out the course.
Are controlled variable was the sensabot and its program.

Sensabot challage

First we did 3.5 wheel rotations to get to the first line and for the arm we did 0.25 arm  rotations up and 0.25 arm rotations down.To get to the second line we did 3.5 wheel rotations and 0.25 arm rotations up and 0.25 rotations down.To get to the third line we did 3.5 wheel rotations and 0.25 arm rotations up and 0.25 arm rotations down.And to get back to the charging station we did 11.6 wheel rotations backward.

Sensabot Challange


At first we were struggling and are robot was not working but then we got a new robot and and we were getting stuff done we were good with it going forward but it was a little hard to get it back to the charging station we were so close one time then it stopped last line but then we fixed  and we e senseobot challenge done.
